Hello again fellow moms! Are you looking for a fun filled day, full of adventure and roaring sounds in the distance? Do your children love dinosaurs? Then be sure to check out the Dinosaur Park in Winchester ! Dated from the 60’s, this off the road theme park gem was a huge hit for my family. As you enter, you’re filled with many souvenirs and memorabilia in their lovely gift shop. Rows and rows of trinkets, fill your imagination. When you step outside, you enter your own Jurassic Park. Before your eyes, is even a large Megalodon, and King Kong himself. My son got a huge kick out of sitting in the palm of his hand. Benches surround this forrest of wonder, with signs explaining each species. This time of year, you can feast your eyes on stunning foliage. The drive from Leesburg was only 50 minutes. I especially enjoyed the picturesque mountain views of the Shenandoah valley. This park is a crowd pleaser, and an educational experience for all! Be sure to stop at Moms Apple pie and Hill High for some tasty treats!
